Coco Bongooo & Tulum

Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Cancun and Tulum for the first time! It's beautiful there! We stayed at an all inclusive resort called Punta Maroma as part of a beautiful destination wedding group. The waters are blue, sand so soft, and AC works really well (we went during a humid time).

During our time there, we also went to visit Tulum and swam through the Xenote caves. I highly recommend doing that. There was a part of the water cave tour where it's pitch black and the guide tells you to turn off your flashlight. I'm not sure if you've ever witnessed pure pure pitch black darkness... but you can literally hear and feel the darkness - such a cool experience!

Besides checking out the caves, walking the ruins in Tulum was a "puts life in perspective" experience. So much has happened in Life before us!

And last but not least, one of the most fun moments happened inside the Coco Bongo in Cancun. I had never been to a Coco Bongo which I've since learned has more than one location, so of course - super excited when a friend tells me it's like Cirque du Soleil is at a nightclub. But it's so much better than that!!! I have real respect for the performers - they're really doing some acrobatic stuff - hoops, aerials, everything!! Not to mention the singers and dancers - wow! Such a fun show to watch and take part in. Please give it a shot (ha ha) when you visit Cancun - you won't regret it!

Of course, I had the opportunity to visit Cancun thanks to my friend's getting married! Congratulations V & G!
