This place checks off in all things, decor, ambiance, food and drinks. This restaurant is located in an old cathedral-turned-event-venue in Downtown Los Angeles and you feel the historic architectural-ness the instant you walk up the steps into the place. I love their their roof also because the restaurant will open it up (on a good day). I heard that it's a great place for brunch however I came for their delicious dinner menu.
Some of the highlights that we ordered included:
- Spanish Octopus (my favorite)
- Crispy Brussels
- Grilled Lamb Belly
- Aged Liberty Farm Ducks
- Veal Fraser Jr
- Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloins
- Hamachi Crudo
And for drinks, I was daring and went for the "bartender's choice" where you tell your waiter a couple of items you like and surprise - they create a concoction! Mine was deeeelicious!
After dinner, you are in the heart of DTLA so you can go check out the Walt Disney Concert Hall or the Broad Museum!
